Big Game or Small Fry
Although Dominica has scores of fishing villages, recreational sport fishing is a new and somewhat underdeveloped activity here. But we do have at least one experienced captain with a fully equipped sport fishing boat with fighting chair and outriggers who has a record of success.
For visitors who fancy something a little different, however, we can also hook you up with a local fisherman who will take you trolling along the coast or spearfishing in locations that he knows are productive. You can expect to either catch or tell very tall tales about lionfish, snapper, yellowfin tuna, kingfish, and large trevally jacks. Bring home your catch and our chef will cook it for you.
