2. Brides

Brides names Dominica one of the Top 50 Honeymoon Destinations for 2020, noting Secret Bay as one of the “beautiful new hotels” to stay at. From our six-star resort, revel in both relaxation and adventure — from canyoning in Titou Gorge to wading in the mud pools of Wotten Waven Hot Springs. 

3. Business Insider

Business Insider highlights Secret Bay as the ultimate six-star honeymoon experience in the Caribbean, as its “ultra-private and exclusive-feeling” villas focus on sustainability and natural splendor. While the luxurious resort is on the pricier end of their list, the affordability for its upscale amenities has made it a top recommendation from Business Insider.

4. Caribbean Journal

Caribbean Journal, the international leader on Caribbean travel, recognized Secret Bay’s proprietor Gregor Nassief as Hotelier of the Year, with consideration to Secret Bay’s exceptional growth and service. “A native of Dominica, Nassief’s work represents the best of Caribbean hospitality — and a model for what a small hotel can be.”

5. Condé Nast Traveler

In the article titled ‘These 6 New Flights to the Caribbean Will Get You to the Beach in No Time,’ Condé Nast Traveler notes Dominica’s Secret Bay as a haven from which travelers may “visit Earth’s second largest boiling lake in Morne Trois Pitons National Park, snorkel at Champagne Reef (so named for its bubbling waters), and disconnect from the world.”

A second article from Condé Nast Traveler titled ‘13 Hotels Where Your Room Comes With a Private Pool’ praises Secret Bay for its “truly luxurious seclusion.”

The publication also recognized Secret Bay as a top Caribbean destination in their acclaimed Reader’s Choice Awards 2020.

6. Daily Mail

In its coverage of luxurious “jungle hotels” around the world, Daily Mail highlights Secret Bay as both a luxurious retreat and an adventurous escape. The article also notes select amenities such as “a Kindle loaded with daily newspapers and an iPhone for use both on and off the property,” in addition to adventure watersports equipment.

The publication also attributes this resilient eco-conscious initiative to the underpinning force that has made Dominica the fastest growing economy in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Forbes also featured the residential villas at Secret Bay with an interview with proprietor Gregor Nassief in their article “Why Rich Americans Are Fleeing To The Caribbean This Winter.”

Mr. Hudson places Secret Bay in their number one spot on its list of ‘The 10 Best Ecolodges in the World.’ The article highlights the six-star resort’s energy and water management efficiency,  recognizing Secret Bay as the best place in the world to revel in eco-conscious luxury.

Robb Report features Secret Bay as one of 12 coveted getaway destinations that ’embrace the power of solitude,’ specifically citing its unique cliffside location as a romantic and relaxing hideaway. With its private plunge pools and beaches, Secret Bay is named as a haven for ‘honeymooners and A-listers’ alike.

Britain’s oldest national daily newspaper, The Times highlights Secret Bay in their article “30 spectacular Caribbean holidays for 2021.” Secret Bay’s shining six-star hospitality centers it as a choice Caribbean destination for prospective travelers in 2021.

13. USA Today
