Featured Guests: “Our Best Family Vacation Yet!”

Three generations of the McInnes family visited Secret Bay in January including three grandchildren. Having traditionally opted for all-inclusives in the Caribbean, this year the family rented out all of Secret Bay – it did not disappoint: “Mix one part Swiss Family Robinson, two parts Wallpaper Magazine and a good dose of Brazil ’66 (think Oscar Niemeyer) […]. This place is what you imagine when you are asked to go to your happy place.” They enjoyed family excursions: “a trip up the Indian River (our guide, Fire, picked us up right at Secret Bay Beach); an afternoon with the amazing Dr. Birdy (who was particularly great with the kids); horseback riding; and fishing”. They tucked into “a variety of traditional Dominica dishes prepared by Personal Cook, Rose Lewis” and as vegans marvelled at “what could be prepared using fresh local organic food”. Foodies will love Glenn’s Secret Bay Meals review. And they relaxed: “the unbelievably kind staff” meant this was a family holiday “with ten sets of grandparents, instead of two”.
