Featured Guests: Mark and Xin’s Island Wedding

A lot of our guests say Secret Bay is like one big, very happy family. A perfect example came a short while ago, when we held a private wedding for Mark and Xin here at Secret Bay. The ceremony was conducted by Lewis (who a few days later reappeared as their hiking guide for a walk up to the Boiling Lake). The team who photographed their wedding became friends on Facebook. As Xin said in her review on Tripadvisor: “It didn’t take long for Dominica to become our home, and Dominicans to become our family“.

The couple stayed in the original Zabuco honeymoon villa for a week, enjoying an escape completely customised to their desires. Considering that they describe themselves as “NYC food snobs”, we were delighted that they said our cuisine was marked by “culinary finesse”.

Of course there’s no more important task for our team than ensuring a wedding goes smoothly, as the couple will remember it for the rest of their lives.
