Couple Returns to Secret Bay with Family to Create Memories That “Last a Lifetime”

For many of our guests, Secret Bay is the perfect place for romance. Over the past five years we’ve helped many couples celebrate their honeymoons, babymoons and wedding anniversaries. We also host a wealth of activities tailored to suit the needs of all age groups, making us ideal for a family vacation. For Scott, we afforded him both romance and family fun on two separate stays.

The first time Scott stayed at Secret Bay, he brought his wife to celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary. They loved their visit, telling us a few weeks ago, “not only did we fall more in love with each other during that magical week, but we also fell in love with Zabuco, Secret Bay, Gregor and his staff, and the mystical beauty of Dominica!”

This was their first time to our nature island, and they made the most of its beauty, enjoying excursions like waterfall hikes and exploring Indian River by boat while still leaving plenty of time to take in the experiences we offer at our villas, which he described as ”your own secluded Caribbean home with the services of a small boutique hotel.”

Scott and his wife returned for a second stay, this time with their three children, aged 20, 16, and 13. “We could not have been happier with our week long stay over the New Year,” they said. Being as active as most teens are, the kids jumped into every adventure on offer —kayaking, paddle-boarding, snorkeling right off the beach, canyoning, horseback riding, scuba diving and hiking to several waterfalls and hot springs.

And despite having come the first time as a couple, Scott made it clear that a family holiday here was an equally special experience. He wanted to take it upon himself to assure parents out there who enjoy traveling with their children, that our resort is the right choice for a great family experience. “Secret Bay and Dominica is not a destination to be missed!” he said. “Memories last a lifetime!”
