Celebrating our 5 Year Anniversary with 5-Time Guests
For our final blog in our anniversary series, we talked to the couple that has visited us more times than anyone else, Alan and Debbie. They’re the perfect interview to finish the series, as we’re celebrating five years since opening and they have been to stay with us five times, coming for the first time just after we had opened, and most recently just a few weeks ago.
As we prepare to celebrate five extraordinary years welcoming guests from all over the world, we’re giving the last words to Alan and Debbie, so they can share their highlights from five trips over five years at Secret Bay.
TRIP 1 – November 2011
On Alan and Debbie’s first trip, they stayed in a bungalow and spent most of their time in their residence, relaxing on the balcony and enjoying the fantastic views. “We weren’t 100% certain of what to expect but it more than exceeded any expectations that we may have had!” they said. “Go and experience it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!”
TRIP 2 – November 2012
On Alan and Debbie’s second trip, they enjoyed the new Vetiver Sunset Deck, watching the sun set and chatting over wine. “You can even dine up there under the stars or have a massage whilst taking in the wonderful breezes, sounds and views,” they said. “The food was, as usual, amazing!” This time, Alan and Debbie stayed in the Mapou Bungalow, enjoying expansive views across the bay from bed and enjoying the breeze from their balcony.
TRIP 3 – November 2013
By Alan and Debbie’s third trip, they were familiar with our staff and settled right in. “The staff there know us now and treat us like family which is a wonderful feeling,” they said. This visit, they stayed in the Zabucco II villa and loved soaking in the pool on their terrace. “The views are just incredible and mesmerizing!” they said.
TRIP 4 – November 2014
On Alan and Debbie’s fourth trip, they realized Secret Bay had become like a second home. “From the time we drive up to the gate, we get the big smiles and the welcome back from all of the staff that we have come to know and love!” they said.
“It is a true vacation being at Secret Bay, from not having to worry about cooking your meals, they just turn up at the times that you have asked them to be brought, to just calling the security to have the kayaks brought down to the beach to go for that relaxing paddle around to the beautiful ‘Secret Beach’ or maybe take a more challenging kayak across the bay to build up your appetite for lunch!”
TRIP 5 – May 2016
Within the past few weeks, Alan and Debbie came back for their fifth stay. “You just can’t go wrong if you are considering a stay at Secret Bay,” they said.
We wish Alan and Debbie all the best for many years to come and hope to see them again soon.
