How to Spend 72 Hours in Dominica
Dominica offers a rare kind of experience. Wild and unspoiled. Deeply connected to nature. And filled with ways to explore, restore, and reconnect. Whether you’re here for a quick escape or a longer stay, 72 hours is just enough to discover the island’s rhythm.
Day One: Explore the Land

Start with breakfast on your terrace: fresh tropical fruit, local coffee and the sound of the sea in the distance.
Your first full day is about discovering Dominica by land. Hike into the rainforest with a private guide. The trail to Middleham Falls takes you through lush terrain and ends at one of the island’s tallest waterfalls. For a more relaxed option, swim through the warm waters of Titou Gorge. Float between narrow canyons surrounded by green walls and cool waters.
Break for lunch with a chef-prepared picnic set beside a river or tucked into a quiet clearing. On your way back, visit a local village for cocoa tea and a chance to meet artisans.
Return to Secret Bay to swim in your private plunge pool. Watch the sun drop behind the horizon and end the day with dinner under the stars.
Day Two: Dive into the Sea

Dominica is one of the top dive destinations in the world. Its more than 20 sites are located within reach of the resort.
Board your private boat and head out along the coastline. Experienced divers and beginners alike can explore volcanic ridges, coral walls, and rare sites like Champagne Reef, where warm bubbles rise from the sea floor. It feels like swimming through a natural spa.
Prefer to stay closer to the surface? Snorkeling near Secret Bay is just as rewarding. Spot sea turtles, colorful reef fish, and soft coral gardens in calm, clear water.
After your excursion, enjoy a light lunch at your villa, rest in the hammock and take in the view. In the evening, join us for cocktails and a quiet dinner along the bluff.
Day Three: Slow Down and Reset

Your final day is designed for pure relaxation. Begin with yoga at the Bwa Mang Wellness Pavilion where the forest is your backdrop.
Next, head to the Gommier Spa. Treatments use island ingredients like volcanic mud and lemongrass oil. Choose a massage, body wrap, or facial, letting everything else fade away.
For dinner, feast the senses with an outdoor chef table experience nestled into an organic garden by the Cario River.
