Whale Watching Capital of the Caribbean

whale watching
Whale season has begun here in Dominica – although whales can be seen all year round off the coast of the “Whale watching capital of the Caribbean”, sightings are most common between November and March. The island’s unique underwater terrain – the seascape drops off thousands of feet very near the coast providing perfect nutrients for the whales to munch on – mean that tour operators boast an impressive 90% sightings rate year-round. We can arrange tours with an excellent operator for you – all operators follow a strict code of conduct so as not to disturb the whales.  Check out our “Great Escape” rates here.  (Photo by Images Dominica)
