Boutique Luxury Resort seeks a General Manager for leading, managing, guiding and creating a customer-focused and customer centric culture aimed at leaving a lasting impression with all of our guests. The General Manager has overall responsibility for all aspects of the organisation: guest satisfaction, HR, financial performance, sale and revenue generation, food & beverage, delivering return on investment and implementing an extraordinary, highly personalized guest experience. The General Manager most importantly is responsible for managing a team of dynamic individuals in fulfilling the organisation’s Mission and Vision.

Relevant Hospitality qualifications are essential including a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or similar.

Skills and competencies required include: leadership, exceptional guest relations, strong marketing and financial management skills, creativity, operational excellence and entrepreneurial management competencies.

Additional languages and real estate property development experience would be assets.

The Facilities Coordinator will lead a dynamic operations team in order to maximize financial performance, guest satisfaction, and employee development/satisfaction within established quality standards.

 

The specific responsibilities include: 

  • Managing an effective preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance programme to ensure that the site, accommodation, facilities and all related equipment are properly maintained and in good working order; anything affecting the guest experience must be given priority; all equipment must be well maintained with manuals, critical spares and emergency provider support in place; the visual aesthetic of the property must always be of the highest quality; a very effective pest control program must be maintained; the maintenance program also includes the effective planning and execution of the annual maintenance programme.
  • Managing an effective security and safety operation to ensure that the guests, staff and all site assets are properly protected; this must include proper patrols and logging of information, ensuring guests use proper safety gear; necessary measures must also be in place to detect and deter internal theft of any kind.
  • Managing an effective landscaping operation to ensure the grounds, plants, trees and flowers are well maintained and pleasing to the eye; this must include proper trimming, weeding, irrigation and plant replacement; necessary measures must also be taken for disease control; the green house and vegetable garden must also be well maintained.

 

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or Project Management; Experience in plumbing, electrical engineering, Air Conditioning, IT and previous experience at Supervisory level.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all tasks associated with the maintenance of the hotel’s physical assets and equipment.  The technician is responsible for repair and presentative maintenance of the villas, restaurant, administrative offices, kitchen, laundry and spa.

The Landscaping Technician will maintain the grounds of the property to ensure a clean environment, well-manicured lawns, trees, shrubs, hedges, as well as planting, weeding, pruning and treating of plants.  The duties also includes the harvesting of produce and proper care and maintenance of landscaping equipment.

The security host monitors in and around the hotel’s premises to prevent any security breaches and criminal activity.  In the event of a security threat on property, the Security Host is responsible for skilfully managing the situation to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.  The Security Host also serves as lifeguard for water sports activities.

Boutique Eco Luxury Resort seeks Chef with a passion for excellence responsible for overall culinary experience of our guests. The Chef most importantly is responsible for managing and developing our kitchen team, ensuring each dish is of the highest quality and that each guest enjoys an exceptional and highly personalized dining experience. The Chef will also be responsible for creating menus, controlling the costs in the department and maintaining the hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.

Relevant Culinary qualifications are essential including a Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. Previous experience with a 5-Star or similar establishment and experience in both international and local cuisine using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients is essential.

Skills and Competencies required include: strong supervisory management skills; food & beverage costing, menu planning and inventory control; exceptional guest relations; high level of artistic and creative skills; operational excellence and entrepreneurial management competencies. Additional languages would be an asset.

Responsible for guest experience from check-in through to check-out by managing a team of dedicated villa attendants to ensure an exceptional in-villa experience, including food and beverage service and other relevant services, as well working closely with the Concierge to ensure an exceptional on-site and island experience.

  • Managing housekeeping to ensure readiness of accommodation before and on guest arrival, as well as on a daily basis during their stay.

The Villa Attendant is expected to perform routine duties in cleaning and servicing of villas with the highest standard of sanitation safety, comfort and aesthetics. The Villa Attendant will be expected to cook meals for guests on request.  The Villa Attendant will promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and able to address guest requests and problems.

  • Coordinating activities for pre-arrival and arrival of guests inclusive of transportation
    and welcome amenities as well as managing the check-in process with guests to ensure
    a lasting first impression and any special requests have been properly attended.
  • Managing the check-out process with guests to ensure a positive and memorable
    experience; this includes final presentation and review of the invoice, ensuring hotel’s
    assets are returned, assistance with luggage, transportation to the airport and
    communication encouraging them to return.

 

The ideal Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism & Hospitality and experience at a supervisory level at a hotel or resort.

The Driver Host will provide professional, secure and timely driving services for the resort primarily for guest airport transfers, sightseeing tours and transportation to other places of interest, ensuring guest have an exceptional experience.  The Driver Host will also carry out delivery services on behalf of the resort.

  • Writing and editing sales and marketing materials, which include brochures, website, press releases, presentations, advertising and other collateral
  • Researching new market opportunities
  • Assisting in developing and the implementation of the Sales & Marketing plan
  • Liaising with Tours Operators, Travel Agents and Corporate Clients, keeping track of production and ensuring that terms of contracts are adhered to.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Tourism & Hospitality, Marketing or related discipline
  • Ability to confidently use MS Office suite
  • Previous experience would be advantageous
  • Comfortable using social media marketing
  • French language proficiency preferred

The Reservations Assistant supports the Sales & Marketing Coordinator in managing the reservations process to maximize occupancy, revenue and guest satisfaction; this includes responding to guest inquiries, converting inquiries into confirmed reservations, up selling packages, while embracing a service and hospitality culture that leaves a lasting impression on all of our guests.
