“Dominica’s self-description as “the Nature Island” turns out to be more than just an advertising slogan,” wrote Stephen Nash for The Washington Post. “A quarter of its exquisite landscapes are protected as national parks.”
During his trip he experienced the Waitukubuli hiking trail, a 14 day multi stop trek that is the longest in the Caribbean. he called it “a magnificent achievement for a small nation, testimony to its commitment to maintain its biological diversity.”
