Bwa Denn
Experience a creative and cultural immersion like no other at Secret Bay’s brand-new Bwa Denn. Embraced by the sights and sounds of the rainforest, the modern minimalist two-level structure features a casual gourmet restaurant on the ground floor for daily breakfast and all-day eats inspired by the island, a full-service bar, open-air terrace, art gallery, hip microbrewery, conference space, mini theater and cutting-edge wine cellar. The rooftop lounge and dining space with extensive ocean vistas is home to our delectable tapas menu and signature “no menu” concept, an adults-only (16+ years) fine-dining experience at Secret Bay. Admire inspiring artworks either from the ground floor or the internally suspended view deck and sip on craft kombucha brewed directly on-site with local ingredients and — above all — revel in a refreshed Nature Island experience.
Zing Zing
Secret Bay’s acclaimed open-air restaurant returns with a new chef, an expanded format, and an entirely new level of intimacy. Limited to just 20 guests per evening, Zing Zing is now the most personalized fine-dining experience in the Caribbean. Beneath a canopy-style roof above Tibay Beach, Chef Allison Lo curates a six-course Discovery Menu built around what the island provides each day: fresh-caught seafood, seasonal fruits, vibrant vegetables, and fragrant local herbs. There is no fixed menu. The direction of the evening is dictated by availability, creativity, and precision, allowing exceptional produce to lead. Chef Allison moves through the dining room over the course of the evening, personally introducing each course and the story behind every ingredient. Three handcrafted cocktails are created each night using the freshest local ingredients, reflecting the same daily-driven philosophy as the cuisine. A thoughtfully selected wine flight is also available, designed to elevate and harmonise with each course. Guests may also explore our Grand Cave collection of premium wines, ranging from $300 to $2,000 per bottle. With only twenty seats, reservations are essential. Botanica: Organic Garden & Chef’s Table
Feast the senses with an outdoor chef table experience nestled into an organic garden by the Cario river. Guests may enjoy true garden-to-fork decadence with wholesome, plant-based entrees paired with fresh vegetables, fragrant herbs, and aromatic spices sourced from the Chef’s organic garden. Botanica hosts 6-seat, farm- and sea-to-table cooking classes three times weekly, each featuring plant-based, pescatarian and omnivore menus using traceable organic produce, fish and meats forage from the property or sources from nearby farms.
In-Villa, Poolside or Beach Dining
Whether you wish to dine in the comfort of your own villa or crave a full day with the entire family in the sun, your dedicated villa host will take care of all dining details — from setting the table and mixing cocktails to placing your order for a poolside lunch to paddling a packed picnic directly to you at Secret Beach. All-day eats are selected off our à la carte menus, featuring sea- and farm-to-table plates inspired by the island’s bounty. For breakfast in-villa, savor our Traditional Dominican Breakfast, nutrient-rich smoothie bowls or sumptuous eggs-to-order prepared in-villa by your villa host.
Deck Dining
Reserve one of our quiet decks overlooking the Caribbean Sea for a private, firelit fine dining experience. The picturesque Sunset Deck offers sweeping views and cracking Caribbean sunsets on repeat, while Gwiyavyé Heights serves up an intimate al fresco dining experience while suspended amongst the treetops of an organic guava grove and our Beach Bonfire provides spectacular firelit fine dining with your toes in the sand.
Pre-Stocking
Every Secret Bay stay includes a complimentary Organic Breakfast Basket, filled with a supply of farm fresh eggs, organic fruit, homemade granola, yogurt, bread, jam and dried fruit, coffee beans and local lemongrass and cocoa teas, pre-stocked and replenished, on request, for the duration of stay.
Guests also have the option to pre-stock their villa kitchen with their favourite foods, from specialty ingredients for a quiet evening in-villa to homemade snacks, beverages and a medley of locally-grown organic produce, all of which you may note on your pre-arrival questionnaire or request from your villa host during your stay. Whether you choose to cook in your fully-equipped European gourmet kitchen or have your villa host prepare breakfast to your specifications, you can rest assured that all ingredients are of the highest quality, sourced either on property or from nearby markets.
