Our Mouben Welcome House is designed with accessibility in mind and serves as a hub for getting around the property. Mouben features an accessible welcome area with restrooms, from which guests can seamlessly connect to Concierge team for experience planning, our villas by the funicular or our fleet of electric golf carts, the restaurant, brewery and gallery by accessible ramps and accessible pathways to the bar, lap pool and beach areas.
Secret Bay provides a seamless arrival experience with our shuttle van, equipped with a seat that lowers down and out of the vehicle for ease of transfer. This service picks up all guests at the airport and transports them directly to Secret Bay. Additionally, we offer golf cart transportation around the grounds and to the villas using slide boards for self-transfer or assisted transfer, as well as a funicular, the longest in the Caribbean, which has a ramped boarding area so those using wheelchairs or with limited mobility can smoothly board the rail car.
Our new two-bedroom accessible villas are fully equipped to provide a luxurious and inclusive stay. These villas feature ramps from the driveway to the villa deck, a wheelchair-friendly lift between the pool deck and the upper levels, and an accessible bathroom with grab bars, a padded shower bench and a handheld showerhead, providing seamless accessibility for those using wheelchairs or experiencing mobility challenges. The private infinity pools are outfitted with stairs, handrails, and poolside grab bars to ensure safety and ease of use. Additionally, our staff is trained to place food items on lower refrigerator shelves for easy reach and to reposition or remove extra furniture upon request.
Our newly opened, multi-level Bwa Denn Kitchen, Terrazza, Gallery, Brewery and Boardroom are all fully accessible. Guests can enjoy these spaces with ease, thanks to ramps to the ground floor and an elevator connecting the floors, which also provides access to accessible restrooms.
The bar and lap pool area at Secret Bay are fully accessible, with pathways leading directly to the pool deck. An accessible restroom is also conveniently located near the pool.
Secret Bay features an accessible pathway directly to the beach, where the sand is firm enough to be navigable for wheelchair users. Guests may require assistance across the sand, and we offer a sit-on-top kayak with outriggers for stability, suitable for some wheelchair users depending on strength and ability. A beach mat is also available to enhance accessibility.

In April 2024, we hosted consultants from the Open Doors Organization (ODO), a renowned non-profit dedicated to enhancing travel and tourism access for individuals with disabilities, for a comprehensive accessibility assessment and staff training session. This training covered disability awareness, proper language and communication techniques, and practical tips for assisting guests with various accessibility needs.
