Freshwater Lake

Freshwater Lake is located in a volcanic crater, over 2500ft above sea level and is part of Dominica’s World Heritage Site.

The lake and surrounding area can be mysteriously shrouded in mist or gleaming in full sunshine, often changing between these climates within minutes.

Kayaking on the lake is a serene and fun way to enjoy this pristine environment. To stretch your legs you can hike the 2.5 mile trail around the perimeter for even more fantastic views.
