Secret Bay Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary And Receives Praise For Bringing Luxury Hospitality And Real Estate To The Island
On April 6, 2022, Secret Bay celebrated its 10-year anniversary in a grand Nature Island way. In an evening affair, local dignitaries, business partners, staff, and friends reveled in Secret Bay’s journey and bright future, including Dominica’s crown jewel opportunity, The Residences at Secret Bay. The Residences is setting records for sales success and receiving international media attention.

At the event, Nassief and his wife, Sandra Vivas, hounoured 10 individuals for their significant contributions to the success of Secret Bay over the past decade – from those who originally made Secret Bay possible and believed in the vision, to those who brought the award-winning resort to life and the dedicated staff that make it happen every second of every day to achieve the unparalleled, six-star experience that Secret Bay is today. These individuals were identified as:

- The Builders – Daniel Guastella, Alistair Grell, Claude Lauture, Abo “Mike” Shama
- The Believers – Honourable Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, John & Cathy Hanna, The Didier Family

In his address at the 10-year anniversary event, the Honourable Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of Dominica, credited Nassief, who he says “has boosted [the] island’s image as a desirable destination for high-end clientele seeking comfort, peace and timeless elegance.” Prime Minister Skerrit referred to Secret Bay as “one of the most sought after and renowned hotels in the Caribbean” and “an award winning property, offering a unique, upscale experience within a most beautiful and picturesque setting.” He added, “Secret Bay has helped us tap into our true potential as a nature haven and proven that Dominica can indeed offer a top-class, six-star experience to vacationers seeking the ideal retreat.”
