October: Festival Month in Dominica!

This is the 15th year of the fantastic World Creole Music Festival (October 28-30), which features local and international artists combining the rhythms of zouk, reggae, soca and African beats. This year’s headline acts include: Ali Campbell (of UB40), Midnight Groovers, Gyptian, Third World and Bunji Garlin. Check www.wcmfdominica.com for more information.  October is also Creole Month in Dominica: every Friday, locals dress up in their Creole attire, “dust off” their patois and enjoy their culture and heritage. Dominicans are proud of who they are – and there’s no better time to see it than during these festivities.  Make the most of our fabulous “Autumn Breeze” rates (available until December 17th, which includes a promotion of 2 additional nights free for a 5 night stay as well as our in-villa cooking service) and enjoy all that Dominica has to offer over the next few months.
