The island has two small airports:

  • Melville Hall Airport (DOM): the main airport in the northeast near Marigot.
  • Canefield Airport (DCF): a small commuter airport near Roseau in the southwest.

From the USA

  • American Airlines or other major US airlines to San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU); Barbados (BGI); Antigua (ANU); St Maarten/St Martin (SXM).
  • Then connecting flight with LIAT, BVI Airways or Seabourne on to Dominica (DOM).

From Europe

From the UK

  • Virgin Atlantic or British Airways to Antigua (ANU); Barbados (BGI) and St Lucia (UVF).
  • Then connecting flight with LIAT or BVI Airways on to Dominica (DOM).

From France

  • Air France or Air Caraibes to Guadeloupe (PTP); Martinique (FDF) or St Maarten/St Martin (SXM).
  • Then connecting flight with LIAT; Airawak or BVI Airways on to Dominica (DOM).
  • You can also catch the ferry L’Express des Iles from the neighbouring islands Martinique and Guadeloupe (one hour and a half).

From Holland

  • KLM flies from Amsterdam to St Martin (SXM).
  • Then connecting flight with LIAT or BVI Airways on to Dominica (DOM).

From Germany

  • Condor flies from Frankfurt to Antigua (ANU) and Barbados (BGI).
  • Then connecting flight with LIAT on to Dominica (DOM).
     

From Canada

  • WestJet Airlines from Toronto to Barbados (BGI).
  • Air Canada to Antigua (ANU), Barbados (BGI), Guadeloupe (PTP) and St Lucia (UVF).
  • Then connecting flight with LIAT on to Dominica (DOM).
     

From the Caribbean

From Guadeloupe and Martinique

  • Ferry L’Express des Iles (one hour and a half).

From Barbados or Antigua

  • Direct flights with LIAT to Dominica (DOM).

From St. Lucia

  • Direct flights with LIAT or BVI Airways to Dominica (DOM).

From St Maarten/St Martin

  • Direct flights with BVI Airways to Dominica (DOM).
